Retaliation Policy

Saint Peter’s University students are not permitted to take any act of retaliation against another individual. Retaliation is defined as any adverse action (including but not limited to retaliatory harassment, threats, vandalism, unauthorized or unwelcome contact, or other harmful behavior) taken against an individual because of that individual’s involvement in an activity or process. Retaliation against an individual for reporting an incident, supporting an impacted party, or otherwise participating in the student conduct process is a serious violation. Students wishing to make contact with such individuals in advance of their student conduct hearing should do so only through the conduct administrator. Failure to comply with this policy may result in student conduct action that is reflective of the severity of the policy violation.
