Key & Lock Misuse Policy

Saint Peter’s University students are not permitted to use or possess an official University key that belongs to another member of the University community. Additionally, students are not permitted tamper with any lock or lock mechanism at the University. This policy includes, but is not limited to:

• Using another key to gain access to a University building and/or room
• Making any duplicate copies of an official University key or lock
• Tampering or damaging any lock or lock mechanism at the University
• Installing personal locks or lock mechanisms in University owned property 

Failure to comply with this policy may result in student conduct action that is reflective of the severity of the policy violation.
